Hop to it LA beer lovers! The best week in beer is right around the corner and Angel City Brewery is celebrating with events throughout Los Angeles. LA Beer Week runs June 18 through June 26 and the downtown brewery has a great lineup of events featuring new, classic and limited release brews.
Whether you are an expert or a newbie, Angel City has an Los Angeles Beer Week event for you. Play weird science by pairing Miracle Berries with beer or relax poolside at the Ace Hotel Rooftop pool. Finally, for those not Downtown-adjacent, Angel City will be conducting tap takeovers around SoCal including London Gastropub in Monrovia and Lordsburg Tap House in La Verne, among many others.

- Ale Academy XXIV: Beer on Miracle Berries: Join Angel City Brewery Monday, June 20th at 7 pm for a tasting like you’ve never experienced before. Miracle Berries are a little red African fruit that changes all sour flavors to sweet. Your world will be turned upside down as day becomes night, left becomes right and sour turns sweet. For $5 attendees will taste and explore Angel City’s hoppy and sour beers under this new flavor profile.
- LA Beer Week “Off Flavor” Training Course: Train like a Cicerone ® and learn what flavors should not be present in good beer Tuesday, June 21st at 6 pm. Angel City Brewery will be hosting two Master Cicerones ® who will be showing the six most common “off” beer flavors every brew connoisseur should know. Tickets are $49 and can be purchased here.
- WWYB Winner – Strawberry Gose Launch Party: What Would You Brew becomes What Did You Brew on Thursday, June 23 at 7 pm. Angel City Brewery will be debuting the 2015 ‘What Would You Brew?’ winning beer - Strawberry Gose. The launch party will include a brewer-led tasting, tour and discussion with the winner who was inspired by the iconic summer fruit.
- DTLA Breweries United Crawl: Celebrate & explore DTLA’s Great Brewery Renaissance Thursday, June 23 at 6 pm with a free hop on/hop off shuttle service that will take beer lovers around to five Downtown LA Breweries (Angel City Brewery, Arts District Brewery, Boomtown Brew, Mumford Brewing & Iron Triangle). Show up at any of the five breweries to catch the shuttle and kick off your hop-filled loop around Downtown LA.

- Angel City Bottle Take Over at Resident: If you enjoy the rare and the limited, make sure to mark this one night, one chance tasting event on your calendar. Angel City Brewery is emptying out their cellar and bringing to the public their rarest of beers on Tuesday, June 21, 6 pm. Guests will sip on the last drops of barrel aged beers, limited release bottles, and one batch only bombers!
- Angel City IPA Tasting: This is the event for hop heads who loves a good IPA. Join Angel City Brewery Saturday, June 18th at 5:30 pm at Tom’s Urban for an afternoon tasting of Angel City’s widely popular IPA in the heart of LA Live.
- It’s Friday I’m in Love: Friday, June 24th is LABW’s unofficial date night! Lovers unite for
a romantic cheers to London Gastropub at 4 pm. Angel City will be serving up flights of flavorful and decadent brews such as Angel City's IPA, Black Lager, Salted Caramel
Gose, and Sparkling Berliner Weiss.
- Pool Partayyy!: Angel City is taking refreshment to another level (literally to the roof!) Friday, June 24th at 4 pm at the Ace Hotel in Downtown LA. The Brewery will be taking over the Rooftop bar - complete with cornhole, cans of Social IPA with LAger and Salted Caramel Gose on draft. Can't make it to the splash bash? Don't have a cow - Social cans are on special for LABW week!
- Puckerfest 2016: Wrinkle, furrow, crease and crumple your face in delight on Saturday, June 18th at 6 pm as you taste Angel City Brewery’s sour beers at Lordsburg Taphouse.
